Also, take a look at our configuration requirements to confirm that your Blackberry phone is setup to use the wireless USAePay software correctly:
1. Make sure the proper internet settings are in place on the Blackberry.
For AT&T & Cingular: Go to options > advanced options > TCP
And it should say:
APN: wap.cingular
Username: wap@cingulargprs.com
Password: CINGULAR1
For Verizon: Newer models including the 7250 and the 7130 now have a TCP/IP stack, no configuration is needed.
For T-Mobile: Go to options > advanced options > TCP (or Tools > TCP)
And it should say:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
2. Make sure the permissions are allowed to the software.
a. Go to options > advanced options > applications > scroll down and highlight the USAePay application (without selecting it) > hit the menu button > go to edit permissions > make sure to change the option for connection from custom to allow > and the option for interactions from custom to allow > click save > back out
b. Pull up an internet page using Internet Browser > hit the menu button > go to options > browser configuration > select Support Javascript, make sure it is checked > select Support Style Sheets, make sure it is checked > under Style Sheets Media Type select handheld (not on all phones) > change emulation mode to Microsoft IE > click save
3. Make sure the TLS settings are correct.
Go to options > security options > TLS > set the TLS default to Handheld instead of Proxy > click save
4. Upon completion of installation if it says “Error Completed Successfully” back out of the USAePay application ONCE > you’ll be asked, “Save or discard?” > click on save > re-login to the software
