Settings

The settings section of your reseller console allows you maximum flexibility for managing your account and merchant account settings. Most of the settings sections listed below has its own support page; those that do not are detailed below. Please click on the icons below to access specific support pages for each of the settings sections.

• Manage access to your reseller console.
• Setup users and assign access to console features.

• Effectively communicate with your merchants through the Merchant News Manager.
• Create news stories to display on merchants' console home pages.
• Manage news items from parent resellers and other sources.

• Manage merchant gateway packages.
• Choose default merchant settings such as auto batch closure and default fraud settings.

• Configure merchant console branding options such as color scheme, company name and support email address.

• Setup a custom message that will be displayed to USAePay Customer service if your merchant calls in for support.

Enter any information you would like to be displayed to USAePay customer service agents when they are assisting one of your merchants, then click Save. Your message will remain in the editable field and can be changed at any time.

• Change your reseller console password.
• Passwords must be changed at least once per 90 days.

• Control system wide fraud settings.
• Fraud module setting created here cannot be overridden by merchant settings.

• Control the message displayed to merchants if they attempt to access a feature not included in their service level (package).

Features that are not included in a merchant's package can be hidden or they can appear with the message of your choice. Select “Show Feature with Upsell Message” or “Hide Feature,” then, if you would like to include an upsell message alongside features not included in a merchant's package, enter the message in the space provided and click the save button.

• Reseller Keys allow you to integrate reseller center functionality into external applications.

• Customize the text of gateway generated emails such as the merchant welcome, console instructions and source key setup emails.
