The template settings entered in this section will determine the look and feel of the Merchant Console that is presented to your merchants. By entering your own website information, coordinating the color scheme of the merchant console navigation, and including the code that allows merchants to login to the system directly from your website you can create a customized look that provides the kind of continuity and security your merchants need.
The console settings determine the navigational elements of your merchant's consoles. These settings, along with the code provided on the Login Page will transform your merchant's console experience into on that is completely consistent with your existing web site.
At the top of every merchant console is a link to the gateway homepage. To replace it with a link to your own company home page, simply enter the URL to which you would like your merchants to be directed. You must include the full URL, beginning with http: or the link will not work. ==== 2. Homepage Link Title ==== The text entered in this field will appear as the title of the link you entered above. Your custom title will replace the gateway name at the top of the merchant's console. ==== 3. Support Email ==== The support email address that you enter here will replace the default email@example.com address that appears at the bottom of each page in the merchant console. ==== 4. Login Page ==== If you choose to create a page on your website (using the code provided on the Login Page) from which merchants can login to their consoles directly, you will want to enter the URL of that page here in order to ensure that merchants are directed back to your login page should they need to reenter their login information. It is very important that the login page URL you enter here is an exact match to the private login page on your site. If it is entered incorrectly, your merchants will be redirected to the gateway merchant login screen. You must include the full URL, beginning with http: or the link will not work.
In this field you should enter the URL to which you would like your merchants directed when they logout using the logout button at the top of each console page. If this URL is not set, merchants will be redirected to the login page set above. You must include the full URL, beginning with http: or the link will not work. ===== Color Scheme ===== || Using the fields provided in your console, you can determine the colors of the navigation bars that will appear in your merchant's consoles. By using colors that coordinate with your company web site, you can alter the appearance of the merchant console to mimic the look and feel your site. A chart of hexidecimal color codes is provided on the Additional Resources page of this support section. ===== Login Page ===== This page provides the code required to embed a login form directly onto your website. Simply copy and paste the code to allow your merchants to login to their consoles directly from your site.
